Where does the name Martin SB come from?

In the 1980’s enthusiast carp angler Martin Tusveld decided to experiment with the new carp baits that had been invented in England: Boilies. Martin found out quickly how to make these boilies with exactly the right firmness and attractiveness for carp. Tusveld only made small amounts for his own fishery and for a couple of friends. When het started with the now famous Roasted Nut boilie, more and more carp anglers wanted to fish with these. The boilies of Martin caught so many carp that soon everybody called them Super Boilies, that’s where SB comes from. In 1991 Martin started his company Martin SB.

What Martin SB boilie should I use?

There are several ‘rules’ for every kind of waterway and seasons during the year. How many fish are there, other species of fish, how many other carp anglers are there? Everything must be taken into account when choosing a boilie. On the website of Martin SB you can find a very handy filter which will make choosing your Martin SB boilie so much easier.

Does Martin SB offer products for coarse fishing?

Certainly! Martin SB offers Quatro baits with small sinkers and floaters as well as the very popular Zig iT mixes. In 2018 the Mini Match Boilies have been introduced with the unique Martin SB flavours. Coarse fishermen have also discovered our unique Super Smog. Our particle range is also well used by coarse fishermen.

Martin SB produces weekly boilies and other products. This means a high throughput which guarantees the utmost freshness of the used ingredients. All Martin SB products on the market have been thoroughly tested by our team. Martin SB boilies are dried in very unique way and no chemical conservation is used. Martin has been on top for more than a quarter of a century, that says a lot! All Martin SB products are produced and labelled according to rules and regulations by the Dutch authorities – NVWA.

All Martin SB products that reach the market are thoroughly tested by our international team in every thinkable circumstance and during every season of the year.
